I think that many would regard the term 'Carers' as being restricted to just those who care for a relative, friend or neighbour. Some would possibly include those who work in residential 'care' homes. I have also included Doctors and Nursing staff, firstly because I feel that if they 'didn't' care they wouldn't have gone into the job in the first place. Secondly, 'Caring' is also about the 'physical' day to day attention that the Carer gives to the person they are looking after. There will be countless thankful patients and relatives who can bear testament to the 'Care' they have received from medical teams, so that is why I have included them here and I hope that there will be some who will be happy to share experiences with us.
